The Curfew Tower (Residency)

In 2013 I undertook a residency at The Curfew Tower in Cushendall, Northern Ireland with support from Spike Island Associates Programme.

During my time at The Curfew Tower I created 39 interventions which included performance, sculpture, text, drawing, word, walking, reading, fishing and many other forms. These local interventions were documented using text and on occasions a single analogue photograph.

This body of work was later installed in my studio for Spike Island Open Studios in 2013. The installation included 39 text pieces on A6 card, 27 A6 matt colour photographs displayed on a continuous shelf in chronological order.
In the centre of my studio a sculptural piece, included a fishing rod, rock formation and water filled pond basin.
